Wild Harvesting is Alive and Well

Welcome to the first posting of "Wild Harvest Profits" Blog. I have always loved the outdoors, and have enjoyed the many things that Nature has made available for us to enjoy and use. As a young one, I picked berries for my Mom (Great Raspberry Jam), harvested Black Walnuts for Winter cookie treats, trapped Snapping Turtles for food and money, and numerous other activities that either graced the dinner table, or made me money....all from the Woods, Waters and Fields. I am currently compiling a list of the things that you can harvest while boating, hunting, or hiking and make either a few or many dollars from. This is the first posting for all others who may be interested in "Wild Crafting" or as I call it" Wild Harvesting for Profit". In the next few weeks I will be posting about the various activities that folks like you and me do that keeps them enjoying the outdoors, and also makes them money. I think that you'll have one of those "Ah-ha" moments at some of the fun activites that I have found that people from all over the US and beyond do to make "Wild Profits".
